Born in Ceará - Brazil in 1988, he is graduated from the Fortaleza Audiovisual School - Vila das Artes, and from the regular course (2012-2015) at EICTV - Escuela Internacional de Cine y Tv de San Antonio de los Baños - Cuba with a major in Sound. He works in all stages of sound creation for film: as sound mixer, sound editor and re-recording mixer, in addition to contributing with works of visual and installation arts. He is founder and re-recording mixer at Atelier Rural and has a 5.1 sound editing and mixing studio for broadcast in Fortaleza. The films in which he has worked have participated and been awarded in some of the main cinematographic events in Brazil and in the world, such as Semaine de le Critique - Festival de Cannes, Berlinale, Tribeca Film Festival, Locarno Film Festival, IFRR-Rotterdam, FIDMarseille, Cínema du Réel, IndieLisboa, Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de La Habana, Festival de Cartagena, Festival de Cinema de Brasília, Festival do Rio, Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes, Janela Internacional de Recife, among others. From his time at school, he carried an appreciation for participating in the process of composing the film's soundtrack from the beginning and thinking about the recording and post-production processes in an integrated way to enhance cinematographic narratives. He has a special interest in immersive sound and, in addition to constant research and improvement in multichannel editing and mixing, he has been directing his efforts to guarantee complex and three-dimensional soundscapes right from the capture. He uses a 360º Double-MS microphone system from the German manufacturer of excellence in microphones Schoeps. This system also has the advantage of being mono and stereo compatible, and together with a SoundDevices multichannel recorder it forms high quality equipment, very versatile for film recording and a powerful ally for documentaries and fiction in which the sound of the location matters.
He taught audiovisual sound workshops at Vila das Artes, Porto Iracema, Unifor, Porto Mídia and SP Escola de Teatro.
